William V. Cox Of Counsel

Mr. Cox is a graduate of Yale Law School and Princeton and was admitted to practice in Colorado in 1965. He has specialized in business disputes and transactions. He was an attorney with Conoco in Denver and later assistant to Conoco's Senior Vice President and General Counsel at its Stamford, Connecticut headquarters. He then became Vice President and General Counsel of Stromberg-Carlson which has since been acquired by Siemens. Mr. Cox returned to Denver in 1978 to enter private practice. He has had a Martindale-Hubbell AV peer rating since 1980.

Mr. Cox has been a commercial arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association since 1997.

Prior to attending law school Mr. Cox was a sportswriter/editor for a Colorado Springs daily newspaper and he is a founder of the National Football Foundation's Colorado chapter. He served in the infantry and in strategic intelligence with the USAR. He is a member of the Colorado and Denver bar associations, the Law Club of Denver (senior member) and Phi Delta Phi.
